The Napoleonvilla is located at the foot of the ski area Katschberg on the border between Carinthia and Salzburg, at 1,200 meters above sea level. It inspires visitors and guests by its great history and architectural originality. The Napoleonvilla is a fascinating landmark in a harsh landscape at the foot of the popular ski area Katschberg (distance 10 minutes) between Carinthia and Salzburg. In 2005, the protected monument was made available to the public after twelve months of general renovation. The centuries-old history of the Katschtal was caught and preserved here, without compromising on comfort. In addition to the original fireplace (Rauchstubn), gnarly staircases, original doors and rustic sleeping chambers, the guest can count on modern bathrooms, sauna, kitchen, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The totally refurbished and authentically furnished wooden building has among others an original preserved smokehouse, a granary, an attractive wellness area in the basement, stylish transition rooms and a library, where you can relax at any time. Its exposed position on the sunny terrace of the Katschtal overlooking the Pöllatal and the Hohe Tauern is just as breathtaking as the varied recreational area of the region: skiing, ice skating and winter fun from December to April, mountain and water adventures, hunting, fishing, museums, arts and culture from May to October. The old house is unique, inspiring and relaxing. It can be booked all year-round, on a daily or weekly basis – with or without breakfast, cleaning service, shopping service and housing management. The prices are per person and day and vary between 35 and 65 euros, depending on length of stay and season. Children from 3 to 13 years pay half price, babies and young children go free. Young people of 14-16 years receive 25% discount. The minimum occupancy is 4 people, the minimum price 200 € per day. The maximum occupancy is 16 people, another 4 people can be accommodated in the next door Franzosenstüberl.
