Our original Kinderhotel is a small, homely refuge in the Liesertal valley (Austria’s most family-friendly region).
Traditional, über-cosy and just the right size.
Carinthian comfort is evident throughout the hotel. The individual areas, from cosy family rooms to the country house-style Big Smiley Suite, have been designed by local artists.
It is no secret at all that we predominantly source our healthy food for our cuisine from high-quality local suppliers.



Your little adventurers and explorers can look forward to ten areas specifically for children.
We offer child care seven days per week, with highly trained staff – so you can enjoy a relaxed, care-free holiday!

Smiley’s Kinderhotel is quickly and easily reached – no snow chains required! There are two fantastic regions (Lieser-Maltatal valley and Lake Millstatt) and several ski areas: (Katschberg, Innerkrems, Goldeck, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Mölltal Glacier and the Gerlitz) in the immediate vicinity.
