Hotel Waldfrieden

Our hotel is situated at 1,100 m above sea level with a magnificent view of the Dachstein massif and the surrounding valleys. In winter we offer you the perfect location. The lifts are opposite the hotel or you can ski to and from the hotel. In summer we are the starting point for hikes and walks. The Hochwurzen mountain railway opposite the hotel takes you effortlessly up to our hiking and local mountain, the Hochwurzen. The Schladming-Dachstein Sommercard with many benefits (free use of the mountain railways,...) is available upon arrival. We have different types of rooms, each of which combines modern flair with traditional charm. Thanks to our half board, your physical well-being is also well taken care of. In addition to a varied breakfast buffet, you can expect an afternoon snack and in the evening a varied choice menu with a rich salad buffet. We regularly organise special theme evenings and offer theme buffets. At the latest in our spacious wellness area with Finnish sauna, steam bath, bio sauna, infrared cabin, massage and solarium, panorama relaxation room you will find plenty of opportunity to relax. You can set sporting accents in our fitness room with a magnificent view, our indoor swimming pool and, in summer, additionally in our outdoor swimming pool.
