Made of centuries-old wood, the original Troadkastn offers the ideal environment for relaxing holidays. Whether you are exploring the surrounding area on the hiking trails in the summer or have a shower in the numerous slopes in winter - you will find pure relaxation in the Troadkastn.
Our Troadkastn is a little gem on the Katschberghöhe. It is a real old granary, which was redesigned, expanded and furnished with great attention to detail.
Only a five-minute walk away, a small shop offers you the most important foods and fresh bread. For larger purchases, a drive of about ten minutes (5 km) to St. Michael im Lungau is recommended. There you will find supermarkets and numerous other shops as well as a beautiful 18-hole golf course.
In summer, the region invites to and around the Katschberg for hiking. In winter you can enjoy the family-friendly ski resort and the fantastic mountains. useful information

Tourist tax is € 2.60 per day and per person over 16 years. The tourist tax will be charged together with the total amount.

Cancellation fees: We accept the terms and conditions of the Austrian Hotel Association and provide the following:
up to 1 month before the arrival date 40% of the total rental price
70 up to 1 week before the arrival date 70% of the total rental price
100 100% of the total rental price in the last week before the day of arrival
The costs do not apply if the Troadkastn can be rented out for the same period.

Final cleaning: We charge a lump sum of € 70 for the final cleaning, regardless of length of stay. This includes washing the used bed, kitchen and bathroom linen. This amount will be charged to you together with the total rental price.
